You only have to use what has been provided by the merchant. Also, you do not have to handle orders, ship any inventory, or deal with the customer. The merchant handles all that, so you are only focused on promoting the offers to your audience.
Marketplaces are free to join and give affiliate marketing beginners access to a wide range of companies that offer affiliate programs. There are many to explore, but they’re a great way to find partners for products or services within your niche. Marketplaces administer the programs and payouts too, so you don’t have to track and account for several independent programs. Plus, you also have someone in your corner if you have questions or issues, which is a plus for affiliate marketing beginners.
Don’t set-it and forget-it — Affiliate marketing is a great way to create a relatively passive income stream, but you can’t launch it, see a little success, then expect it to grow on its own. Isn’t that the same as EEC? You are basically just selling the Affiliate program to other people no different. They give you the tools like EEC does for their own program. It’s an excellent opportunity to offer technical training courses that teach people how to learn a much-needed skill, or accomplish an important task. It could also prove to be an important testing ground for your educational courses. Dependency: This is the biggest con, so pay attention! Affiliate marketers depend on the merchant to make their money. If there were no merchants or affiliate programs, the possibility of being an affiliate marketer would not exist. It even becomes more frustrating if for one reason or the other a merchant suddenly stops running the business or their affiliate program. This can potentially deprive the affiliate marketer of his one-time steady source of income.
